7 Things About Me...again

I was thinking while having a cigarette a little while ago. The things I was thinking led me to do this. I realized that maybe I should let everyone else in on my 'mind' wanderings.

  1. I wish I could see myself through someone else's viewfinder.
  2. I'd like to figure out a how to smoke without using my hands.
  3. I can write with my right and left hand...though I'm wondering if I can type with both because it took me at least 6 tries to type 'write'..sheesh.
  4. I long to be a serious SCA archer.
  5. I re-live books in my mind long after I've finished them...same with movies. (Not every book or movie...only those that have impacted me in some way.)
  6. I think part of me uses this blog because she secretly wants to be popular/famous.
  7. When I'm upset/tired/bored I talk with an accent - and I don't mean 'southern'...I'm talking some weird European thing. Most people do not know this...I hide it as best I can.

Ambidextrous

To-day is a good day to be thinking 1) (it was going through my head, too, this morning) - to-morrow is Burns Night, and as the bard himself wrote:

O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!

I miss smoking... I've been sooo close to taking it up again recently but so far I've resisted.
I don't think I'd want to see myself from anyone else's POV just now... I doubt I'd like what I see! lol

I slip into whatever accent I happen to be around at the time. That was embarrassing in a boarding school with people from all over the world. I dont even realise when I do it. Only person who's accent I can't seem to copy is the hubby's, so I'm myself when I'm with him :)

Um... so would this count as my tagging you? Lol! I'm pretending it does! :D

#3 is cool :)
I do #5 too.
#6 is interesting :) I know I don't think about my blog that way. That might be a good meme someday. Something about why people blog.
#7 I think that accent is called tiredean ;)

I'm the exact same way with books and movies. So I'll just randomly bring up some obscure scene and my husband will be like, "Um, WHAT?"

But I'm even worse about things that have happened in my own life. I spend a lot of time "reviewing" the past day(s), especially when trying to sleep.

LOL Jordan: I have actually tried to debate the actions of a character with my husband...who usually just stares at me like I grea another head..lol. He'll say.."Um..I didn't read it..I have no idea what you mean.." As for the 'when trying to sleep' thing...that is SO ME.

Melissa: Tiredean! Love it :)

Marylin: Gah, I wish I had never started smoking...but I kinda have an addictive personality. I have a HARD time breaking habits..but fingers crossed for this year.
My mom is the worst when it comes to accents when around other people...but only the Southern US kind. She was raised in West Virginia. Most of the time you don't know it, but get her within earshot of 'the south' and her voice will instantly change into a thick drawl. I always know when she's been talking to her friend in Alabama...I call and it sounds like I'm talking to Scarlet O'Hara.
