Sheer Bliss

It does not take much to make me happy these days. Example: While sitting here at the computer, bored out of my mind and after exhausting my list of daily blog reads, I started thinking about a book series that I've ready lately. I googled the author's name...and found my bliss.
Deanna Raybourn (yes, I know, you are probably getting tired of me mentioning her) has her own blog on typepad. I read through all the links on the page and finally had to whoop when I realized that, YES it is really her and not just a fan. Also, it is not full of "I'm awesome...here is where you can buy the book and here are my fan links" nonesense (though I would still love her if it was) but it was full of her thoughts and she made herself accessible to her fans. Many of the things I read just gave me more reason to *heart* her. She is divine.
And.......remember when I talked about hating that I have to wait for the next one and the vagueness on the back cover of 'Sanctuary', in which it said she was "working on" the next one??? IT'S DONE!!! Though there is not a release date yet I now have reason to breathe.

On a sidenote: For the love of all that is Holy, PLEASE ignore all the typos that I've been making recently. I hate that blogger does not have a spell-checker built in and I get so carried away sometimes that I don't think about it. I'm just excited to be writing.

Err... blogger has spellcheck on mine. Not a button you click, but misspelled words are underlined in red in the compose and html modes (not in the preview modes.) -Maybe it's just my browsers, but I think it's blogger itself.

ok...I feel like a complete moron. I've used blogger for a while, fuming because of no spell checker. Today I saw that stupid box with the ABC and a check mark. I am soooo lame..rofl.
Thanks for making me look twice at the situation :)

Ok you know what? I never noticed the abc box! Lol! Mine's always underlined misspelled words automatically. Again, it could be my browser that does that and not blogger.

So see? You taught ME something :)
